This project is an addition to and renovation of an existing 1972 church building in the Niles District of Fremont. The addition will include a new fellowship hall that opens to a new landscaped courtyard, offices and classrooms. The sanctuary will undergo a complete transformation with the removal of an existing closed-off second-floor level, thereby creating a "spiritual" center. Added large skylights bring diffuse daylight into the space, and large glazed openings emphasizing the visual connection to the lobby outside.
