This complete renovation of the women's locker room at the Berkeley Tennis Club (founded in 1906) creates a beautiful and well-functioning space in a healthy and well-ventilated environment. The area feels light and airy, and includes generous and spacious changing rooms and showers that are safe and spa-like. Furnished with custom cherry wood lockers and frosted glass shower enclosures, the design provides warmth and privacy for its members. Custom glass panels of Althea Gibson, Billie Jean King, and Nancy Richey installed at the entry allow natural light to penetrate deep into the space.

The project scope consists of several elements: structural upgrades that benefit the entire building; accessibility upgrades; and elimination of water intrusion problems.
